Interregnum - Views invited
Interregnum is the period between Revd Peter leaving and our new vicar being appointed. The process of filling the vacancy will take a good while. The Bishop, represented by the Archdeacon of Woolwich Alastair Cutting, and the parish work together to make the new appointment.
We will need to develop a Parish Profile to advertise and appoint our new vicar. In this, it will be important to explain clearly what we need, thinking of both the congregation and the wider needs of the parish.
We would like you to complete a church questionnaire which would help to gather your thoughts and ideas on part of this process. A separate questionnaire will be shared with the wider community to find out their views and help us to learn more about our community. The results of the church questionnaire will be shared at the back of church for consideration by the PCC.
Please collect a questionnaire in church and return it to the box at back of church by 12th June.
Please email Revd Carol for a Word copy of the document or download a PDF copy from here.
Questions for discussion:
1.What do you value about St Michael’s and think is important to keep?
2.How do you think we can change and grow?
3. What sort of things do we want the new Vicar to be good at?
