Appointment of a new Vicar
The Bishop has announced the appointment of The Revd Yunghee Koh as the new Vicar to our Parish.
She is to be Instituted and Inducted at St Michael’s on the evening of Monday 8 January 2024.

Self-Supporting Ordained Ministry
On Saturday 9 September a service was held in Southwark Cathedral to celebrate
60 years of Self-Supporting Ordained Ministry (SSM) in the Church of England. As Bishop Christopher's
Adviser on SSM, Father Mark helped to organise and took part in the service. The preacher was The Rt Revd Julie Conalty, Bishop of Birkenhead, who served her first curacy, as a self-supporting minister, at St Michael's.

Our local Scout Troop, 1st East Wickham, which has been linked with St Michael's Church for
more than 100 years, is currently recruiting Beavers, Cubs and Scouts
