Baptisms and Christenings
Whenever it happens, whether as a baby, child or adult, baptism is at the heart of our faith as a follower of Jesus Christ.
During a christening you or your child will be baptised with water. It's the start of an amazing journey of faith and a special day for all your family and friends.
We are always happy to baptise you or your child as a sign of God's love for you. You are never too old to take this step, and being baptised as an adult is a wonderful experience.
Baptisms usually (but not always) take place on the first and third Sunday of each month and can be held within the 10am Eucharist service or separately at 11.30 am. Baptism is offered free of charge by the Church.
How do I book a Baptism?
Come along to our 10am Sunday service and speak to Reader Caroline Ogden, our Baptism Co-ordinator. She will give you a form to complete and arrange a date for the Baptism.
