Coming up this week
Morning Meditation is held at 8.00 am, followed by Morning Prayer at 8.30 am,
and Evening Prayer at 5.00 pm, Monday to Saturday in church.
Please note: On Wednesdays, Morning Prayer takes place at 10.00 am instead of 8.30 am.
Regular Services and Events
St Michael's Sparks: our new ministry for children and young people
next meets 16th of August during the 10am service on the third Sunday of each month
Together we will explore the Gospel through creative activities.
Taizé Service in church from 6.45 pm
Final Monday of each month; next meeting on 24th August Join us for a reflective time of song, prayer, and meditation
The next monthly Breakfast takes place from 10 am at Twinz Café on the 8th of September, this takes place on the second Monday of each month.
Church Cleaning and Grounds Clearance takes place monthly on a Monday evening, the next date will be announced soon. Please have a look out for the date.
Special events for your diary
Our neighbours at the Greek Orthodox Church are holding their Summer Paniyiri which is their Community Summer Festival taking place this Sunday, 16 August, from 12.30–5pm at the church grounds. We are all warmly invited to join them. There will be a great variety of food and activities for all ages.
Please note, there will be very limited car packing space.
SPARK in the Park returns to Danson Park from Monday 17–Friday 21 August, 1.00–4.30pm, offering a fantastic week of free family fun. There’ll be games and stories, crafts, sports, bouncy castles, an Under 5s area and a SEN Quiet Area. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, have fun and connect with others in our local community. Everyone is warmly invited, so please do spread the word! volunteers are also needed!!

looking for bakers and cake makers for our Great St
Michael’s Church Cake Stall.
Donations for our raffle
and tombola would be very gratefully received.
If you or someone you know would be interested in having
a stall, please speak to Tony.
And if you could help spread the word, we have flyers
available to share with friends, family, neighbours and local groups.
The Social Committee
will meet for about 30 minutes after the service on Sunday 23 August to
finalise arrangements, and anyone interested in helping is welcome to join.
